NELO MASCARÓS

HERME FERRANDO
As chance would have it, he and Nelo Mascarós were university classmates and years later they met again as members of examining boards to then do things together: Civil Service Examinations, Trainings, Talks, Projects.
Lifelong gamer and «Gamification Early Adopter». He loves to keep up to date with what AI has to offer in education, which seems to be a lot.

AOIFE GLEESON
Irish living in Spain.
Lover of culture, nature, languages and education. She has lived and worked in Ireland, Spain, Italy, UK, and Chile.
With more than 10 years of experience as an English teacher and a Master’s degree in Cultural Projects for Development, working on European projects was the perfect choice for her.

ROMINA KALDAS
I’m Romina, an Italian-Egyptian mix who found her home in Valencia. I consider myself passionate about international relations and European projects. After graduating in International Relations in Rome and completing a Master in European Projects in Florence, I joined Meraki’s amazing team. Here I learn every day that small steps are the beginning of change. I firmly believe that the most significant change is achieved when we take those small steps with great determination. And together, in the Meraki team, we are ready to make a difference, one small step at a time.

INÉS DE LA CRUZ
A Valencian engineer specialising in project management, she met Laura as the director of my master’s degree in project management and did not hesitate for a minute to join her team to work on European projects.
A keen traveller and a dancer as a second profession, she loves being able to help culture move forward by connecting the European Union with super innovative projects.

LORENA
Curious from birth, she found in art history a discipline through which to thread her main interests: art, history and visual culture.
After exploring the various job possibilities she discovered that teaching and project writing had to be part of her path and here she is contributing her artistic grain of sand in Meraki collaborating in the development of various projects and Erasmus + mobilities.

RAQUEL GARCÍA
She has been a primary, infant and English teacher since 2018 and is in love with languages, music, digital culture and travelling.
She was lucky enough to enjoy the Erasmus programme as a student and continues to be a strong advocate of its benefits in the education of students at all levels. As Emile Zola, the French writer, said, «nothing develops intelligence as much as travelling«.
