Countdown to Albacete: Erasmus+ GEL Project In-Person Training Week

The Erasmus+ GEL Project Training Week in Albacete is just around the corner! Countdown has begun, and in one month, we will gather together for an intensive week of learning and capacity-building focused on gender equality and sex education. The event will be hosted by the expert team from Asexórate, ensuring an engaging and insightful experience for all participants. This training week is part of our ongoing commitment to empowering communities through education and awareness.

Learning from the Experts

We aim to foster understanding and engagement with issues of gender equality and sexual education across Europe. Our collaboration with Asexórate ensures that participants will receive top-tier knowledge and guidance. The training sessions will cover a wide range of topics, including practical workshops, discussions on policy and best practices, and opportunities for participants to share their experiences and insights.

This second in-person training is an essential component of the GEL project, which emphasizes face-to-face interactions to build deeper connections among participants. We are excited to build upon the success of our initial training sessions and continue expanding our impact.

Training Week Agenda

The week in Albacete will be filled with a range of activities designed to educate, inspire, and build the capacities of all attendees. Participants can look forward to interactive workshops, group discussions, and a variety of activities aimed at promoting collaboration and innovation. Some of the topics we will explore include:

  • Understanding the social dynamics of gender equality
  • Best practices for implementing sex education in schools
  • Strategies for community engagement and advocacy

The agenda also features time for participants to network and learn from each other, which is an invaluable part of capacity building and ensuring sustainable progress after the training.

Building Community and Capacity

One of the core elements of the Erasmus+ GEL Project is its focus on creating a supportive and collaborative community of like-minded individuals who are passionate about driving change in their respective areas. The upcoming training week in Albacete is more than just a learning opportunity—it’s a chance for participants to form partnerships, share innovative ideas, and work towards a common goal of gender equality and comprehensive sex education.

Family Padel and Meraki Projectes have also been dedicated to similar efforts of social inclusion and community building through their projects, demonstrating the wide-reaching potential of education and sports as tools for societal change.
