The AM-Heal project marks an important milestone today. We have successfully completed our first six months of work. We are very excited about the achieved results. Firstly, our main goal is quite clear and ambitious. We want to create a higher education micro-credential in additive manufacturing. This technology will greatly help in personalized physical rehabilitation. It will also support complex war injury recovery processes. This objective is detailed in our successful European cooperation application. The application was approved under the Erasmus+ KA220-HED action.
Our first achievements together
We have formed a great multidisciplinary international consortium. The South East Technological University (Ireland) leads this important initiative. Furthermore, we have expert partners of a high European level. Podoglobal SL, University of Malta, and Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University participate. From Associació Meraki Projectes, we bring our extensive management expertise. The kick-off meeting was held in Valencia last November. We connected as a team and started working hard there. For example, we defined our main joint action lines.
Visual identity and digital presence
Visibility is fundamental for our consortium’s overall success. Therefore, we have created our official project logo. This design visually brings our innovative initiative to life. The official website is now fully available at this link. Our social media channels are operating at full capacity daily. You can easily follow our progress on LinkedIn and Facebook. We will also launch our official Instagram profile very soon.
Educational structure and continuous assessment
Academic and intellectual work is progressing at a great pace. We have successfully developed the initial curriculum structure. Also, the detailed needs assessment is already completely finished. However, a large collaborative project requires strict quality control. We have completed the thorough risk and quality assessment. The six-month internal project review has been correctly carried out. Everything is developing perfectly according to the planned schedule. You can discover more educational initiatives by visiting the Meraki Projectes website.
Looking ahead to the AM-Heal project future
The AM-Heal project moves forward with great determination. The result of these months of hard effort is excellent. We have a timely, efficient, and well-coordinated initiative. In conclusion, the working team is more motivated than ever. We really want to make 3D printing accessible to everyone. Our ultimate goal is to generate real positive social impact. The upcoming months of the AM-Heal project will bring great technological news. We will keep working financially supported by the Erasmus+ European program. Stay tuned for upcoming updates on our social channels!
