Hello, today we leave you the result of a European project: English Communicative Competence, that we found very interesting, DECCA (Developing English Communicative Competence through Art).

DECCA
Developing English Communicative Competence through Art is an educational approach that aims to develop English communicative competence through artistic activities.
Key features of English Communicative Competence:
- Interdisciplinary Approach: It uses artistic disciplines such as music, theater, dance, painting, and film to teach English. Through these activities, students not only learn vocabulary and grammar but also how to communicate effectively in cultural and artistic contexts.
- Experiential Learning: Students actively engage with the language while participating in creative activities. This allows them to practice English in a more dynamic and contextualized way, promoting natural language acquisition.
- Development of Communicative Skills: DECCA focuses on improving speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills in English, with a special emphasis on oral expression and listening comprehension, using art as a medium to encourage dialogue and interaction.
