Vilnius Hosts the TASC Erasmus+ Meeting
This week, Vilnius became the center of educational innovation as the TASC Erasmus+ consortium and Teacher Board met from December 10th to 14th. The TASC Erasmus+ Meeting focused on enhancing sustainable communication training for educators, aiming to drive social change through education.
Participants, including 29 consortium members and 22 Teacher Board representatives, collaborated intensively to evaluate and refine the Grade B Teacher Training Manual (TTM), a cornerstone of the project’s comprehensive 20 ECTS training program. The vibrant agenda featured interactive sessions, module testing, and capacity-building workshops, all hosted at the Vilniaus Kolegija.
Key Highlights from the Meeting
1. Collaborative Module Testing
A major focus was the feedback and testing of Grade B modules, which include:
- Universal Human Values and Human Rights
- Understanding Ourselves and Others
- Dialogue and Equity
Teacher Board members, acting as critical evaluators, provided insights into the training modules to ensure their relevance and impact.
2. Workshops on Digital Competences
Sessions emphasized the integration of digital tools into the training framework, ensuring educators are equipped for modern, hybrid learning environments. Special attention was given to using Moodle for course delivery and tracking progress.
3. Roadmap for Future Training
The consortium outlined a clear plan for piloting Grade A, B, and C modules across Europe in 2025-2026. Murcia will host the first pilot of Grade A training in May 2025, setting the stage for further blended and virtual learning sessions.
4. Capacity Building and Impact Research
The meeting also advanced capacity-building strategies and finalized tools for measuring the training’s impact. These efforts will enable data-driven improvements as the program progresses.
