A European milestone in teacher education
Sustainable communication marks the core of the European TASC training programme, which officially launches its first physical session in Murcia, Spain, from May 20th to 24th, 2025.
Grade A, a 6 ECTS EU micro-credential, starts with a 2 ECTS face-to-face week. The curriculum focuses on five modules:
- Human Rights and Values
- EU Values and Identity
- Non-Discrimination and Equity
- Understanding Ourselves and Others
- Dialogue
Teachers from seven countries collaborate in transnational communities, fostering intercultural learning and reflection. This mission aligns with the work of Meraki Projectes, known for its impact-oriented education projects.
Blended learning for long-term change
The blended phase continues from May 28 to June 4 with national and EU-level hybrid sessions. In September, the virtual learning path provides a reflective space for further development.
This format supports the application of sustainable communication in real educational settings, enhancing both reach and depth.
Long-term vision: inclusive and green education
The TASC consortium will assess the training’s impact and promote a sustainable European education system. It contributes to the broader objectives of UNESCO’s sustainability goals and the European Green Deal.
Programmes like these, supported by networks such as Meraki Projectes’ teacher networks, create new standards for collaborative, future-ready education.
Conclusion: This launch in Murcia is not just training—it’s a foundation for a more inclusive and dialogue-driven European classroom. Because sustainable communication is essential for building tomorrow’s Europe.
