Nuevos Recursos Digitales para una Agricultura Social e Inclusiva: Guía y Informe Agrosocial

New Digital Resources for Inclusive Social Farming: Agrosocial Guide and Report

Inclusive social farming is the core focus of the two new milestones that the Agrosocial project has just released for digital download. We are thrilled to announce that, after months of intense collaborative work, key tools are now available for professionals and communities interested in sustainability and inclusion.

What will you find in these new resources?

The project has released essential documents that gather the experience accumulated between Spain and Ireland. Therefore, if you are interested in urban gardens and community participation, these materials are for you:

  1. The Agrosocial Report on Best Practices (LEARN): A comprehensive look at successful models. This document details the lessons learned during mobilities and fieldwork.
  2. The AGROSOCIAL Toolkit: A complete practical guide. It combines knowledge about accessibility, sustainability, and participatory design in organic urban gardens.
An international collaborative effort

These materials are not just theoretical documents. Furthermore, they are the fruit of two years of cooperation between committed partners such as Terra i Dona, Leitrim Development Company, and us, Meraki Projectes. Together, we have joined forces to create a model that fosters the real integration of people with diverse abilities in agricultural environments.

Inclusive social farming seeks precisely that: to create spaces where the land also cultivates human bonds. However, to achieve this, it is vital to have a clear methodology. The Toolkit offers proven strategies so that any organization can replicate these successful models in their own territory.

Where to download the materials?

You can access both resources for free through the official platforms. We recommend visiting the Activities and Results section of the official Agrosocial website for direct download.

You can also find more detailed information about our participation on the Agrosocial project page at Meraki. Finally, if you wish to explore other European projects we work on, visit our home page.

Inclusive social farming is the path towards a more human and sustainable agricultural sector. We invite you to explore these documents and apply them in your community.
